About
My name is Elsa
I am an artist and illustrator based in rural Nottinghamshire. Trained in Fine Art and History of Art, after completing my degree I worked in museums and galleries for some years before coming back to painting after having children.
Since my return to painting I have now captured over 200 pet portraits, had 3 solo exhibitions, held my first big Draw Event and illustrated children's book 'The Animal Train' by Becky Syson. I work in Acrylics and ink pen from a small studio space in our house and am inspired by nature, my children and all things whimsical.
I love creating pet portraits. I think they are such a lovely way to celebrate the love people have for their pets, and are timeless tributes to remember them by. Read below what some of my kind customers have had to say about their portraits.

Book an Animal Train Workshop
Alongside the launch of our book 'The Animal Train' myseld and author Becky Syson are delivering music and craft workshops based around the book.
